Simon was killed today. I am nearly speechless. Jack and his tribe of nonsense and violence killed Simon for almost no apparent reason. They were doing some crazy dance and amidst the excitement, they got carried away and killed Simon. It appeared to me, as if Simon was trying to say something, something about a parachute on a hill. It became clear to me, however, what he was talking about when a parachute with a dead body hanging from it landed on the beach from another part of the island. This was the "beast". This is most likely what Sam & Eric saw.
Jack at this point has descended entirely into savagery. He rules his tribe with absolute power and punished boys for no reason. They threaten our tribe and speak of raids. They stole Piggy's glasses and with them the ability to make fire.
