Joe Bates chapters 5 and 6

I established rules and developed some order on the island and it was working. As of now Everyone does what they want. This needs to stop.

I decided to hold a meeting in order to solve this problem. I held the conch and didnt allow any one hold it untill i was completly done. I addressed the facts that the fire must always be tended, the coconut shells should be filled and refilled with water every day etc. The productive meeting soon turned into an argument over the beastie, which was brought up again by the littleuns. Jack proposed to go to the one part of the island that no one has ventured to, to find this beastie and kill it once and for all. We got there and found no beastie. I was extremely dissapointed not to find it, but another thought was brought up that the beastie could be living in the water.
